A big change is coming to the squad of Origen. The team has announced that it's parting ways with bottom lane duo Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen and Alfonso "Mithy" Aguirre Rodriguez.

According to the official statement from the team, the two players had expressed a desire to join a different team, and after long and arduous negotiations, a deal has been struck.

Exactly what team the Zven and Mithy are moving to is still unknown. The same goes for the replacements, although the Spanish language version of the announcement says that they will be revealed tomorrow. The phrasing also makes it clear that Origen's new bottom lane duo is coming from an established team, so expect to see an announcement soon.

Both Mithy and Zven have been part of Origen since the beginning, playing on the original roster alongside team founder xPeke, top laner sOAZ and jungle player Amazing. As part of the original roster, the duo helped Origen win the 2015 Spring Challenger Series split, place 2nd in both the 2015 Summer split and 2016 Spring split in the EU LCS, and also made it as far as the semifinals in the 2015 World Championship.

Given their stability and success with Origen, it's no wonder that other teams have become interested in the duo. We'll likely see an announcement about their new home before the end of tomorrow.
